Very true to type, this Pinot Noir is deep garnet in color. This wine has a nose of perfume, plums, and straw coupled with spiced fruit. These flavors flow onto the palate to marry with rich blue fruit medium-to-firm tannins and complex overtones of earth and cloves.

Distinctively Central Coast in style, from an appellation of vast micro-climates. Moderate temperatures through the growing season and diverse soils lead to complex flavors, purity and classic Pinot Noir flavors. Harvested in the cool of the night, the grapes were cold soaked for several days to enhance color extraction. Fermentation took 7-10 day after which time it underwent malolactic fermentation and remained on a combination French and American oak for approximately 9 months.
