The Central coast area of California is a highly prized wine grape growing region due to its proximity to the cooling influence of the Pacific Ocean and a wide diversity of soils and topography. This unique stretch of land is ideal for the cultivation of classic wine grape varieties and the production of world-class wines. The grapes were night harvested and cold soaked for several days to enhance color extraction, then fermented on skins for 7 days. The wine was then aged on French and American Oak for 9 months.
