This Riesling is drier style with a very fragrant bouquet opens up with aromas of yummy ripe peaches, apricots, and lychees. On the palate, a ripe and juicy pear, peach and apricot mingle with the buds.
The 2010 Riesling grape is sourced from Henry Ranch Vineyards; the block is planted to the site just below the Mt. Veeder AVA line at the historic Los Carneros Herny Ranch.
The harvest time at 4 October 2010 with 21.3 Brix level and de-stemmed with 8 hours skin contact with basket press, followed by cold soak 24 hours and hand punch down, small open top fermenters, then aged 5 months in French oak (neutral).
